Job Overview
A law firm seeks a Labor & Employment Associate with at least four years of experience to join its Philadelphia, PA office. The ideal candidate will have experience in litigating, advising, and representing business clients on a broad range of employment matters.

Duties

• Handle federal and state employment litigation including discrimination, harassment, retaliation, wrongful termination, and wage and hour claims.
• Advise clients on compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws, including Title VII, ADA, ADEA, FMLA, and FLSA.
• Draft and review employment agreements, restrictive covenants, employee handbooks, and workplace policies.
• Counsel employers on hiring, employee relations, performance management, and termination matters.

Requirements

• Must have excellent oral and written communication skills, strong organizational and analytical abilities.
• Candidates must be licensed and in good standing in Pennsylvania. New Jersey admission is a plus.

Education

• Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.

Certifications

• Licensed to practice law in Pennsylvania.

Skills

• Strong litigation and advisory skills in employment law.
• Experience with deposition and second chair trial preferred.
