Duties

• Represent condominium and cooperative boards in transactional and dispute-related matters.
• Advise on development, structuring, and regulatory matters, including offering plans and amendments.
• Support transactions involving residential, commercial, and mixed-use condominium structures.
• Draft, review, and negotiate agreements and related documents.
• Handle dispute-related matters in prelitigation contexts, including negotiations and mediation.
• Participate in litigation and arbitration, including discovery and trial preparation.
• Advise on regulatory and compliance matters related to board operations.
• Collaborate with attorneys on complex matters.
• Interact and communicate with clients throughout all phases of representation.

Requirements

• Juris Doctor from an accredited law school.
• License to practice law in good standing in New York.
• 3-5 years of experience in real estate law, preferably in condominium and cooperative matters.
• Strong drafting, negotiation, and analytical skills.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
