Job Overview

A law firm seeks an associate with three to six years of construction-related transactional experience to join its nationally recognized Construction and Infrastructure Transactions practice in Dallas, TX. The team handles sophisticated contracts for large-scale energy, transportation, and industrial infrastructure projects.

Duties

• Draft and negotiate complex agreements, including EPC, design-build, alternative delivery, supply, service, and consulting contracts.



• Advise clients on risk allocation, indemnification, insurance, bonding, and other critical commercial terms.



• Communicate effectively with clients and multidisciplinary project teams to manage high-stakes infrastructure matters.

Requirements

• Demonstrated proficiency in independently drafting and negotiating construction-related transactional documents.



• Hands-on experience advising on risk allocation, indemnification, insurance, and bonding structures.



• Excellent legal writing skills and meticulous attention to detail.

Education

• Strong academic credentials from an accredited law school.

Certifications

• Admission to the bar in Texas or eligibility for admission.
