Job Overview
A law firm seeks an Incident Response Associate to join their Privacy and Cyber practice group in Harrisburg, PA. The ideal candidate will have 4-6 years of experience in incident response, privacy advisory, and compliance.

Duties

• Navigate all aspects of the incident response process, including leading scoping calls and working with forensics.
• Collaborate with insurance carriers and insureds in the incident response context.
• Communicate with third parties, including law enforcement and regulatory bodies, during incident response.
• Counsel clients on privacy compliance matters, including pre-incident planning and data-use best practices.

Requirements

• Excellent academic and professional credentials.
• Strong analytical and communication skills.
• Comfortable managing own caseload and client relationships.
• Ability to deliver smaller projects with limited supervision.
• Experience advising on privacy compliance programs and data governance.

Education

• Juris Doctor (JD) degree.

Certifications

• CIPP, CIPM, or other privacy certifications preferred.

Skills

• Ability to manage workflow for larger projects confidently.
• Experience in healthcare or financial services is a plus.
• Ability to leverage incident response knowledge to assist clients.
