Duties

• Manage cases from inception to verdict.
• Draft pleadings, discovery, motions, and trial briefs.
• Conduct and defend depositions.
• Appear in court for hearings and motion practice.
• Communicate with clients and contribute to case strategy.
• Participate in mediations, arbitrations, and settlement negotiations.
• Prepare for trial and gain second chair experience.
• Contribute to emerging California employment case law.

Requirements

• Active California Bar membership.
• 1-7 years of litigation experience; employment law preferred.
• Strong writing and argumentation skills.
• Ability to manage a caseload independently.
• Trial or substantial trial-prep experience is a plus.

Education

• Juris Doctor (JD) degree.

Certifications

• California Bar membership.
