A law firm seeks a senior associate or counsel to join its dynamic and growing Real Estate practice in New York City. The ideal candidate will have 5-10 years of experience representing companies, developers, franchisees, and investors in sophisticated real estate matters, with a primary focus on commercial leasing, franchise and distribution, and general corporate real estate.

Duties

• Draft and negotiate commercial leases and broader agreements regarding the acquisition, disposition, development, and financing of commercial properties.



• Represent franchisees by reviewing, negotiating, and managing agreements, renewals, and transfers.



• Handle general corporate tasks and asset acquisition matters with minimal supervision.

Requirements

• 5-10 years of experience in commercial real estate, leasing, and franchise/distribution law.



• Substantial experience in drafting and negotiating complex commercial leases.



• Strong academic credentials and a history of high motivation and professional excellence.

Education

• Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school.

Certifications

• Active license to practice law in New York.

Skills

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.



• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.



• Strong analytical and negotiation abilities in complex real estate transactions.

Benefits
