Job Overview

A law firm seeks a Trademark and Copyright Litigation Associate for its Saint Louis office. The role involves handling complex intellectual property matters, including TTAB proceedings and international portfolio management, primarily within the Financial Services and Capital Markets sector. Candidates with three to seven years of experience are preferred, with a strong preference for those based in or willing to relocate to Nashville or Saint Louis, including virtual arrangements.

Duties

• Manage a broad range of trademark and copyright matters, including large domestic and international portfolios.



• Handle proceedings before the Trademark Trial and Appeal Board (TTAB) and resolve trademark and copyright disputes.



• Address domain name disputes under the Uniform Domain Name Dispute Resolution Policy (UDRP) and lead anticounterfeiting enforcement efforts.



• Draft and respond to demand letters, provide litigation support, and manage copyright registration processes.



• Negotiate and draft trademark and copyright licensing agreements and technology contracts.

Requirements

• Three to seven years of experience in trademark litigation and TTAB proceedings is a threshold requirement.



• Active bar license in the state corresponding to the office location, or a commitment to obtain one promptly.



• Experience working with attorneys in the Financial Services and Capital Markets business unit is desired.



• Ability to effectively handle multiple projects and articulate legal strategies under pressure.

Education

• Excellent academic credentials from an accredited law school.

Certifications

• Active bar admission in the relevant jurisdiction.
