Job Overview

A law firm seeks an experienced ERISA Partner to lead transformative employee benefits law engagements in Atlanta, GA. This fully remote role offers the autonomy to drive client success and firm growth through innovative, value-based legal strategies and business development.

Duties

• Guide clients on complex ERISA compliance, plan design, and proactive audits of retirement and health plans while navigating legislative changes and fiduciary duties.



• Design compliant executive compensation structures that align with business goals to enhance client retention and satisfaction.



• Lead business development efforts through webinars, conferences, thought leadership, and media interviews to fuel firm growth.



• Collaborate remotely with team members and clients using standard legal technology platforms to ensure seamless service delivery.



• Uphold cybersecurity, privacy best practices, and liability management protocols to reinforce the firm's trusted reputation.

Requirements

• JD from an accredited law school with active bar admission; multi-jurisdictional admission is preferred.



• 20+ years of experience in ERISA law, preferably at the Partner level, with a focus on Health and Welfare and Retirement Plans.



• Proven experience in Executive Compensation and deep expertise in current ERISA regulations and compliance trends.



• Strong business acumen, stakeholder management skills, and a proactive, can-do mindset.

Education

• JD from an accredited law school.



• LLM in Taxation is a plus but not required.

Certifications

• Active bar admission in good standing.

Skills

• Deep knowledge of SECURE 2.0, CAA, No Surprises Act, and PBM reforms.



• Ability to work autonomously while fostering collaboration within a remote team.



• Experience with value-based billing models and client relationship management.
