Duties

• Independently manage a litigation caseload from start to finish.
• Represent clients in employment and labor claims, including wage and hour, PAGA, discrimination, and wrongful termination.
• Collaborate with partners and attorneys on case strategy and legal analysis.
• Draft pleadings, motions, briefs, and other legal documents.
• Handle court appearances, depositions, and mediations.
• Communicate with clients and provide practical case assessments.
• Mentor junior attorneys as appropriate.

Requirements

• JD from an accredited law school.
• Admitted to practice in the State of California.
• 7+ years of litigation experience.
• Experience in employment litigation required.
• Strong knowledge of federal and state employment and labor laws.
• Excellent written and oral communication skills.
• Strong organizational skills and ability to manage competing deadlines.

Education

• JD from an accredited law school.

Certifications

• Admitted to practice in the State of California.

Skills

• Experience with wage and hour class action and PAGA matters preferred.
• Experience drafting pleadings, discovery, and client communications.
• Legal project management experience is helpful.
• Trial experience a plus.
