POSITION SUMMARY:
Under the supervision of the Radiology Manager and indirect supervision of the Chief Nursing Officer, and in accordance with the Nurse Practice Act, monitors patients undergoing invasive radiological procedures and supervises IR RNs.  Performs the duties of IR RN Supervisor.

POSITION REQUIREMENTS: 
Education and Training Experience Required

Graduate from an accredited school of nursing
1-2 years prior ICU/CCU critical care experience
1-2 years prior experience in Interventional Radiology/ Special Procedures preferred
Ability to read arrhythmia’s and perform all CPR duties
 
CERTIFICATION/LICENSURE: 
Special Knowledge, Skills and Abilities

Current RN-Texas State license or temporary permit to practice in Texas
Current BCLS certification
Current ACLS certification
