Duties

• Conduct estate planning consultations and intake meetings with clients.
• Draft legal documents including wills, trusts, and powers of attorney.
• Revise drafts based on client feedback and oversee signing meetings.
• Manage probate administration, including applications and inventories.
• Prepare alternatives to probate, such as muniments of title.
• Handle guardianship matters comprehensively.
• Maintain a steady caseload and communicate with clients regularly.

Requirements

• Texas bar license in good standing.
• 2-5 years of experience in estate planning and probate preferred.
• Strong drafting, organizational, and communication skills.
• Expectation of 1,500-1,800 billable hours per year.

Education

• Juris Doctor (JD) degree.

Certifications

• Licensed to practice law in Texas.
