Duties

• Manage a caseload of Florida workers' compensation matters from intake through resolution.
• Develop case strategy and proactively advance cases.
• Counsel clients on their rights, options, and risks.
• Conduct depositions, mediations, hearings, and other proceedings.
• Prepare petitions, motions, discovery, and legal correspondence.
• Negotiate strategically with opposing parties.
• Maintain strong client communication and accurate case documentation.
• Collaborate with paralegals, legal assistants, and leadership.

Requirements

• Licensed and in good standing with The Florida Bar.
• Experience handling Florida workers' compensation matters.
• Comfortable with depositions, mediations, hearings, and negotiations.
• Strong communication skills and ability to manage deadlines.
• Experience on the plaintiff side is strongly preferred.

Education

• Juris Doctor (JD) degree.

Certifications

• Admission to The Florida Bar.
