Online Experiences group is seeking a Digital Engineer II who will lead a dedicated squad of digital engineers, setting the technical direction and contributing to our evolving codebase. What you will do as Digital Engineer II (Team Lead):
Architect innovative solutions and creating exceptional user experiences for our customers.
Balance the challenges and constraints of working on a high traffic website.
Orchestrate the technical implementation of large-scale and complex initiatives.
Utilize modern front-end development tools and best practices.
Work with a multi-disciplinary team of individuals and representatives across the organization.
Provide code reviews and technical feedback to team members.
Provide technical mentorship to new team members.
Use current programming languages and technologies, author code, complete programming, and perform testing and debugging of work.
Practical experience and proven success with the design and development of complex websites.
Troubleshoot system issues and fix software defects when required.
Experience and/or exposure to Agile team development.
Perform overall testing and debugging of applications.
Complete basic documentation needed to support applications from the development phase to the maintenance phase.
Basic Qualifications:
Bachelor's or advanced degree in IT, Computer Science, Engineering, Business or related field or equivalent work experience
6 years related experience; additional 2 years experience without BS/BA
Development experience with JavaScript/ECMAScript, JSX, and CSS (Less or Sass).
Experience with version control systems (GIT, TFS, etc)
Advanced CSS experience creating animations and interactions (not jQuery)
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience building tests with Jest, Cypress, or similar library
Build process experience, automation (Gulp / Webpack)
Node JS, Express Server
