A law firm seeks a mid-level associate with 3-7 years of experience to join its Privacy and Digital Risk Class Action and Litigation team in Los Angeles, CA. The associate will work with prominent companies across various industries, handling privacy and data security-related litigation, primarily involving class actions following data security incidents.

Duties

• Manage all aspects of privacy and data security-related litigation.
• Advise on and litigate claims involving state and federal laws.
• Collaborate with a team to develop dismissal strategies for consumer class actions.
• Engage in effective and persuasive writing and oral communication.

Requirements

• Litigation experience with a focus on privacy-related litigation and class action defense.
• Experience with state and federal laws such as BIPA, FCRA, and FACTA is a plus.
• AmLaw 100 experience preferred.
• Admitted to practice in California.

Education

• J.D. from a nationally recognized and accredited school.

Certifications

• Admission to the California State Bar.

Skills
