Program: 1-week special enrichment (November 9-13) | 12:30-3:00 PM (approximately 2-3 hours)

Position: Visual Arts Teacher

Age Group: Grades TK-5

Pay Rate: $85 per day

About the Role

We’re looking for a creative and enthusiastic Visual Arts Teacher  to lead our 1-week special enrichment program for grade TK-5 students. This program encourages self-expression and creativity through a variety of hands-on art projects including drawing, painting, mixed media, and crafts.

You’ll help students explore different art styles and techniques in a fun, supportive, and inspiring environment.

Responsibilities

• Lead engaging visual arts lessons and creative projects


• Introduce a variety of art techniques (drawing, painting, mixed media, etc.)


• Encourage creativity, imagination, and self-expression


• Support students in completing individual and group art pieces


• Manage classroom behavior in a fun but structured setting


• Prepare materials and maintain an organized workspace


• Collaborate with site staff and fellow instructors

Requirements

• Experience working with elementary-aged children (required)


• Strong interest or background in visual arts


• Comfortable leading hands-on creative activities


• Good classroom management and communication skills


• Energetic, patient, and encouraging teaching style


• Available for 1-week special enrichment in November


• Art or teaching experience is a plus (not required)
