The candidate will engage in energy commercial transactions, representing developers, technology companies, investors, and utilities. This role involves working on energy contracts and transactions across the energy and digital infrastructure sectors, with a focus on renewable and battery storage projects.

Duties

• Draft and negotiate commercial agreements, including energy supply and operational contracts.
• Support transactions involving energy project development, financing, and asset sales.
• Advise on renewable energy credit transactions and energy market matters.
• Counsel clients on renewable energy, storage, and decarbonization initiatives.
• Collaborate on energy transition, infrastructure, and technology matters.

Requirements

• JD from an accredited law school.
• Admission to practice in California.
• 3+ years of experience in energy transactions or a strong commercial transaction background.
• Strong drafting, negotiating, and teamwork skills.
• Familiarity with energy regulatory frameworks and utility operations.
• Strong legal research, writing, and communication skills.
• Interest in emerging technologies and energy transition issues.

Education

• JD from an accredited law school.

Certifications

• Admission to practice in California.
