Our client, a nationally recognized Am Law firm, is seeking a Corporate M&A Associate (2-5 years) to join its Portland office. This is a full-time, permanent opportunity to work on sophisticated corporate transactions.

About the Role

The Associate will advise clients on mergers and acquisitions, corporate governance, and general corporate matters. This role offers hands-on deal experience and mentorship from experienced corporate lawyers.

Key Responsibilities

• Advise on mergers, acquisitions, and divestitures


• Draft and negotiate purchase agreements, merger agreements, and related documents


• Conduct due diligence and manage deal checklists


• Advise on corporate governance and compliance matters

Qualifications

• 2-5 years of experience in corporate M&A law


• Strong drafting and negotiation skills


• Licensed to practice in Oregon

Compensation

The reasonably expected pay scale for this position is $185-$255k per year, with bonus potential up to $106,000. This is an estimate based on the office location.
