Our client, a nationally recognized Am Law firm, is seeking a Trusts and Estates Associate (3-5 years) to join its Portland office. This is a full-time, permanent opportunity to work with high-net-worth individuals and families on sophisticated estate planning matters.

About the Role

The Associate will advise clients on estate planning, trust administration, and related tax matters. This role offers hands-on experience, direct client interaction, and mentorship from experienced practitioners in a collaborative team environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Draft wills, trusts, powers of attorney, and related estate planning documents


• Advise clients on estate, gift, and generation-skipping transfer tax planning


• Assist with trust administration and probate matters


• Work directly with clients to develop tailored estate plans

Qualifications

• 3-5 years of experience in trusts and estates law


• Strong drafting and client communication skills


• LL.M. in Taxation a plus


• Licensed to practice in Oregon
