A law firm seeks a Junior Associate with 2 to 4 years of litigation experience to join its Governmental Practice Group in Dallas, Texas. The team represents clients in high-stakes criminal and regulatory matters, including investigations, enforcement actions, and parallel civil litigation.

Duties

• Support criminal trial work and develop core advocacy skills under the guidance of senior partners.
• Conduct complex fact investigations and perform detailed legal analysis on fast-moving matters.
• Participate in client communications and matter management, communicating directly with clients on high-impact issues.
• Provide strategic counseling and excellent written advocacy in government and internal investigations.

Requirements

• Minimum of 2 to 4 years of litigation experience, with a preference for background in government investigations and criminal defense.
• Member in good standing or eligible to waive into the Texas State Bar at the time of application.
• Strong judgment, attention to detail, and the ability to perform effectively under tight deadlines.
• Proven ability to excel in complex fact investigations and analysis.

Education

• Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school.

Certifications

• Admission to the Texas State Bar or eligibility for waiver.
