Come grow with us!\r\n\r\n \r\n\r\nGeneral Purpose and Scope of Position:\r\n\r\nWilbur-Ellis is seeking an experienced A&P Helicopter Mechanic. A successful candidate will be expected to perform all facets of daily, scheduled, and unscheduled maintenance on the company fleet. They will be troubleshooting airframe, engine, and electrical systems; replacing engines, transmissions, and other components as necessary. Other duties as assigned by the supervisor. Some overtime may be required.\r\n\r\n \r\n\r\nKey Skills and Abilities Include:\r\n\r\n\r\n\tPossess current FAA Airframe and Powerplant Certificate (A&P) with no enforcement action(s) pending\r\n\tExperience with Bell 206 series aircraft (preferred)\r\n\tThree years experience on Turbine powered helicopters (preferred)\r\n\tAble to understand and properly use aircraft manuals\r\n\tAble to use calibrated, hand, and specialized tools\r\n\tAbility to sign off logbooks and record component entries IAW FAA CFR’s\r\n\tKnowledge and skills in computer-based maintenance software\r\n\tMaintenance planning and scheduling skills\r\n\tAbility to troubleshoot discrepancies and apply corrective actions to maintain the airworthiness of the aircraft\r\n\tMay require some travel\r\n\tAdditional training may be required\r\n\r\n\r\n \r\n\r\nKey Personal Attributes Include:\r\n\r\n\r\n\tMaintain a neat appearance and convey professionalism with customers\r\n\tMaintain all licenses to comply with regulatory agencies\r\n\tWillingness to work as a team and assume any task when requested\r\n\tPossess quality decision making capability and mental alertness to ensure safety\r\n\tMust be reliable and punctual when reporting to work\r\n\tAble to lift and carry 70 pounds repeatedly\r\n\tAble to work in varying conditions, stand for long periods of time, fit in tight spaces, climb aircraft and support stands, fly on-board company aircraft when necessary\r\n\tWillingness to work weekends, on-call, and overtime during busy periods\r\n\r\n\r\n \r\n\r\nSpecific Responsibilities and Key Deliverables Include:\r\n\r\n\r\n\tRemove and install aircraft subsystem assemblies and components such as engines, rotors, transmissions, mechanical flight controls, and associated components\r\n\tApply technical expertise to solve problems by interpreting technical documentation such as aircraft Technical Manuals, Maintenance Information, and Action Messages\r\n\tService and lubricate aircraft components and subsystems\r\n\tPerform scheduled inspections and assist in performing special inspections\r\n\tPerform maintenance operation checks and diagnose and troubleshoot aircraft systems using special tools and test equipment as required\r\n\tRecommends revisions to maintenance procedures to improve efficiency and ensure quality workmanship\r\n\r\n\r\n \r\n\r\nCompensation and Benefits:\r\n\r\n\r\n\tIn compliance with all states and cities that require transparency of pay, the base compensation for this position ranges from $24 - $37 per hour.  Note that wages may vary based on location, skills, and experience.  This position is eligible for vacation, holidays, health, dental, vision, mental health, retirement plans, and other benefits. \r\n\r\n\r\n \r\n\r\nIf you are currently a Wilbur-Ellis employee, please notify your Manager before applying for this position.
