Law Clerk Program, Spring Semester
The law clerk will be placed in the Tax team or to one of the non-substantive teams like Intake, VRC, and Litigation Support. The clerk will interview clients, draft court pleadings, research legal issues, assist with hearing/trial preparation, analyze evidence, and participate in community education activities. Should preferably have completed first year of law school. Special consideration will be given to students with demonstrated commitment to serving disadvantaged individuals and communities. Will be expected to work 10-15 hours per week during the school year, with flexibility around exams.
