Storage Engineer Hiring ASAP

This is a great opportunity for a qualified Storage Engineer. Please note this is a W2 contract position.
Installs new software releases, system upgrades, evaluates and installs patches and resolves software related problems. Performs system backups and recovery. Maintains data files and monitors system configuration to ensure data integrity. May require a bachelor's degree in a related area and 3-5 years of experience in the field or in a related area. Familiar with standard concepts, practices, and procedures within a particular field. Relies on limited experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals. Performs a variety of tasks. Works under general supervision; typically reports to a project leader or manager. A certain degree of creativity and latitude is required.
We are looking for an experienced, highly motivated and self-starting individual to join our technology team. As a Systems Administrator, you will perform complex duties related to the operation and maintenance of our software development environments and data centers. You will have the opportunity to work with the latest technologies and ensure that it evolves to meet organizational needs. You will also have the opportunity to provide a wide variety technical user support.
Major Responsibilities / Accountabilities
• Provides a high level of technical expertise and support. Experienced and knowledgeable on Windows server and desktop OSs, networking devices, Active Directory, DNS, storage systems, SQL Server, and VMWare.
• Ensures appropriate & timely escalations when technology interests are being compromised to ensure the correct levels of management visibility.
• Contributes to work out of hours when appropriate to support major implementations or to react to service issues.
• Provides proactive problem management that reduces the volume of incident across the technology organization
• Administers the engineering life cycle of all infrastructures ensuring that all hardware and software are properly maintained and operates as intended.
• Supports technical queries from customers and internal technology employees.
Minimum Qualifications:
• 5 years technical experience
• Four-year undergraduate degree in computer science, or related field, or equivalent work experience is desirable.
• Experience supporting Windows desktop and server operating systems including Active Directory, Group Policies, File Security, DNS, and DHCP.
• Experience with Terminal Services and Citrix
• Experience with Storage Systems (SCSI, RAID, SATA, and SAN)
• Experience with routers, switches, firewalls, and VPN clients.
• Experience with Backup Solutions
• Experience with VMware (VCP is highly desirable).
• Excellent communication skills and ability to interact professionally with a diverse group of clients and staff in difficult or conflictive situations.
• Ability to quickly learn new technologies and keep abreast of the latest technological advances.
• Experience in data center operations
