Assistant City Attorney
The candidate will provide legal services to the Department of Municipal Development (“DMD”). The primary area of focus is public works construction law. The work includes to: contract drafting, analysis, and negotiations; regulatory law; procurement; general commercial transaction issues; intergovernmental agreements; dispute resolution; and civil litigation. Attention to detail and strong writing skills are essential. 5+ years’ experience is preferred and must be an active member of the State Bar of New Mexico, in good standing.
