Job Details:
Position is located at the Ramsey, IN Feed Mill.
This position is responsible for entry level non-skilled general labor while maintaining a safe work environment and adhering to Tyson policies and procedures.
This position is responsible for ensuring the Feed Mill is kept clean and orderly. Must perform quality assurance checks, while following all safety guidelines.
Must sweep and clean floors, grain bins, augers and machinery while using low pressure air/water as well as mow/weed eat the grounds and operate a bobcat. Perform pellet mill durability test and keep a daily log of quality assurance checks. Train as back up for Receiver and Panel Operator positions. Perform other duties as assigned.
Must be able to perform work at different heights and lift 50 lbs.
Work environment is subject to seasonal conditions.
Must wear all P.P. E’s and be able to understand safety guidelines, policies, procedures for the mill operation. Must be able to perform each job function satisfactorily by demonstrating that they can maintain the overall clean operation of the mill. While performing the essential functions; the employee is exposed to hot/cold/dusty conditions, moving mechanical parts. Airborne particles, dust and feed ingredients. The noise level is very loud.
