GCO Contracts Analyst II
The candidate will serve as the GCO point of contact for all units (department, division, institute or center), performing pre-award and non-financial post-award activities associated with for profit clinical grants, contracts and cooperative agreements. Activities associated with this function include: Serve as the research office point of contact and liaison for sponsoring organizations. Draft, review, negotiate and process of the following agreements and related amendments/modifications: Industry supported clinical trial agreements, research agreements and complex extramurally funded contracts; non-disclosure and confidentiality agreements;inbound and outbound material transfer agreements;and inbound and outbound data use agreement. Responsible for the interpretation and articulation of institutional and sponsor policies and procedures to ensure compliance and proactively keeping department apprised of changes in policies and regulations of relevant granting agencies. Work with departments and central administrative offices to achieve compliance. Maintain dbGaP policy and perform relevant functions required of the GCO.Assist in identifying, developing and implementing process improvements that impact the day-to-day operations of the GCO unit and the research enterprise. Partner with other GCO analysts and stakeholders in a collaborative, team-based environment.
