Contract Administrative Specialist
The candidate will undertake research and writing related to the development of the LA County Sustainability Plan. Will work closely with faculty at the Emmett Institute and with other researchers at UCLA and at its project affiliates to investigate law and policy pathways to increasing Los Angeles County sustainability, including water independence, renewable energy adoption, biodiversity, and other issues. JD or equivalent degree earned within the past 3 years strongly preferred. Should have excellent academic record. Familiarity with environmental issues and environmental advocacy is essential. Should have sufficient knowledge of LEXIS/NEXIS legal information services to download cases and/or other legal materials.
Note: This is a one year contract appointment.
