Job Summary:
Sr. Information Assurance Specialist is responsible for complex IA projects involving all phases of information assurance to include: assessment, addressing, correlating analyzing, and providing IA course of action decision support. Sr. IAA will be called upon to develop technical and business cases to present alternative solutions and approaches necessary to solve real-world security problems.
Responsibilities/Duties:
Develop high quality assessments of security protocols
Develop and document vulnerabilities in existing WEB, Network, Applications and Systems
Recommend solutions in support of DITSCAP assessment processes
Performs software and system testing procedures
Designs/codes applications following specifications
Define architectures meeting systems requirements and ensures objectives are met
Define, document and implement the requirements and architecture for software applications
Job Requirements :
Skills Required:
BS in technical discipline – information technology or computer science
Minimum 7 years applicable to system security engineering and information assurance subject matter expertise
CISSP certification
Thorough knowledge of DITSCAP/IDACAP processes and accreditation process activities
Experience working at a very senior level client representatives
Desire commercial software development experience
Extensive software integration experience and familiarity with industry and government standards
Experience with software testing, debugging, verification, release testing and beta support
