Real Estate Paralegal
The candidate will handle files representing lenders, and buyers and sellers of residential properties located in New York City and all surrounding counties. Assisting with all phases of residential real estate transactions, including sales, purchases and refinances; Working with real estate attorneys, agents and lenders to quickly and smoothly close transactions; Drafting and/or reviewing contracts, bank documents, closing disclosures, deeds and transfer documents; New client intake; Reviewing title reports and clearing any title issues for closing; Preparing closing statements for files with appropriate adjustments for closing; and Coordinating with clients and lender to determine what funds are needed at closing. Should have 2+ years of Residential Real Estate experience.
