Financial Systems Intern
Intern to work in the Accounting and Finance department. Will work closely with the Manager of Business Systems & Financial Analysis, the Financial Analyst, and the Financial Systems Analysts to: Design and create reports in Tableau and Microsoft Excel that analyze the financial data of the firm. Communicate those analyses to the attorneys and business leaders. Research and collection information about our clients and competitors that will be used for financial analysis, such as the industry of our clients, the type of work we do for them, their geography, their ownership structure, and what other law firms are performing legal services for them. Assist in the processing and scrutinizing of data for month-end balancing, integrity checks, financial audits, and similar business needs. Must be comfortable with working with financial data and performing statistical analyses. Should have Familiarity with Microsoft Excel, including using common functions, creating pivot tables and charts, and retrieving data from databases. Detail-oriented disposition. Should preferably have experience working in a professional environment. Familiarity with programming VBA macros in Microsoft Excel is desired. Familiarity with SQL queries and OLAP cubes is plus.
