*BrightStar Care is needing help with a 61 yr. old male, recovering from Cancer. He can ambulate, but does have good and bad days. Is alert and oriented. This case is located near Parmer Lane and Avery Ranch. We are looking for a sweet Caregiver who is willing to care for him and help keep is independency. Caregiver will need be close by at all times due to fall risks in the past. This case is looking for an ongoing committed Caregiver to maintain this case.
Shifts that are available are:
7 X days a week 7 AM-7 PM (DAYS)
7 X days a week 7 PM-7 AM (NIGHTS)

Responsibilities:
Providing hygiene care as directed by a nursing supervisor, including but not limited to: bathing, grooming, oral care, dressing, undressing, toileting activities, taking and recording vital signs, and assisting with height and weight measurements, if necessary
Providing assistance with daily tasks, including but not limited to: feeding, meal preparation, linen changes, light housekeeping, providing transportation to doctor appointments, outdoor activities, and shopping
Assisting client with active and passive mobility work defined by the Plan of Care, and documenting observed changes to the Clinical Supervisor
Requirements:
A current, valid state certification CNA/HHA/MA/Caregiver and in good standing (Strongly Preferred)
Special Needs Experience (Preferred, but not limited)
High school diploma or GED
Successful completion of a nursing assistant program
Certified CPR and negative TB skin test or chest x-ray
Minimum one (1) year of documented health care experience is required
Licensed driver with insured and reliable automobile
Must be able to stand walk, squat, bend, kneel, reach, twist, push and pull. Varied assistance is required depending on the mobility of the client. Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds

Medial Staffing Assignments pay $18/HR PRN ONLY
COVID-19 considerations:
Provide all PPE equipment for our employees & clients. Also COVID-19 testing on site if needed. Daily COVID questionnaires for patients & employees. Including daily temperature checks.
