The candidate will be handling all types of personal injury claims from initial client intake through trial including routine car accidents to more complicated premises liability, negligent security, medical malpractice and wrongful death claims. Experience drafting and filing basic court pleadings, preparing discovery responses, and requesting and reviewing medical records required. Basic understanding of medical terminology required. Experience negotiating medical, health insurance liens and bills required. Basic knowledge of state and federal court rules and procedures required. Paralegal certificate (preferred). Bi-lingual candidates (preferred). Maritime experience is a plus. Must have 5-7 years of litigation experience in state and federal court. Personal injury experience will be considered for this position.
