Grants and Contracts Coordinator
The candidate will provide guidance and expertise to ensure accuracy, consistency, and quality of grant applications, including compliance with Institutional Review Board, Institutional Animal Care and Use Committee, Institutional Bio-safety, and Radiation Safety Committee regulations. Will also be responsible for drafting, negotiating, and executing income-generating contracts, including clinical trial agreements, with a focus on provisions such as intellectual property, publication rights, indemnification, governing law, etc. Bachelor’s degree in Business, Law, Finance, Healthcare Administration, Health/Biological Sciences, Management or related field is essential. Should have 3+ years of pre-award research administration in an academic setting. Master’s or JD degree may be substituted for 1+ year of the experience requirement. Should preferably have JD, Master’s or Ph.D. degree in Business, Law, Finance, Healthcare Administration, Health/Biological Sciences, Management or related field. Must be certified Research Administrator. Should have 5+ years of working in pre-award research administration in an academic setting.
