Description

Can you turn data into a product? Successful in this role will define, develops, deliver, and manage data products for customer use. The Senior Product Manager work assignments involve moderately complex to complex issues where the analysis of situations or data requires an in-depth evaluation of variable factors.

Responsibilities

The Senior Product Manager leads all phases of the product life cycle, from inception to production, by developing data products to meet and converge customer needs and achieve specific cost and success outcomes. Once products are launched, monitors efficacy of products and uses customer and business partner feedback to ensure products are meeting customer needs across each customer segmentation, adjusting products over time to continue to achieve the desired outcomes. Begins to influence department’s strategy. Makes decisions on moderately complex to complex issues regarding technical approach for project components, and work is performed without direction. Exercises considerable latitude in determining objectives and approaches to assignments.

Required Qualifications:


Bachelor’s degree or equivalent and 5 years of product management experience

Demonstrable track record of successfully delivering products to market within projected timeframes

Technical expertise in data - modeling, transmission, query languages, visualization, and formats

Strong analytical skills and exacting attention to detail

Ability to set, meet, and manage expectations and proactively communicate at all levels


Preferred Qualifications:


Experience with the use of software development tracking tools such as Jira, Confluence, Azure DevOps and MSFT Teams

Experience with Microsoft Office suite including Word, Excel and PowerPoint

Position requires the availability to travel, up to 25% of the time
