Research/Emerging Technologies Librarian
The candidate plays a unique role in ensuring that the Law Library takes full advantage of existing technologies and investigates and adapts new technologies for acquiring, organizing, and presenting legal information to our faculty and students while also providing the high level of research assistance for which our Library is known. Additionally, this position’s responsibilities include: participating in the Library’s instructional programs; acting as liaison to faculty members; helping to maintain the Library’s web presence including creating and maintaining LibGuide Research Guides; and managing Interlibrary Loan program. Should have Juris Doctor degree from an ABA-accredited law school, M.L.I.S. or equivalent from an ALA-accredited institution; professional library experience providing research and reference services; knowledge of the use of technology in libraries; and ability to work both independently and in a collaborative collegial environment.
