.Knowledge of operating systems and enterprise patch management
.Understanding of change management practices
.Intermediate to expert Cisco firewalls,IDS/IPS, virus protection and content filtering, and security policy knowledge
.Understanding of business practices and intellectual property
.Must have trouble shooting and problem solving skills
.Must have experience with investigations of Security incidents
.Must have experience with RISK assessments
.Must have experience with policy development
.Must have experience with formal audits experience with PCI DSS
RESPONSIBILITIES
.Configure, support and evaluate security tools on an ongoing basis
.Review architectural designs and evaluatecompliance to applicable security standards
.Conduct security audits and provide recomendations to help migrate risks.
.Design, configure and support security systems such as Cisco Firewalls, Content Engines, Intrusion Detection and Prevention Systems
.Perform internal penetration tests against enterprise systems.
.Maintaining the vulnerability scanning systems for our envoirnment insuring the compliancy and currency of the software deployed
.Troubleshoot security issues for new and existing systems in all aspects of the enterprise
.Lead investigations on security incidents and document the findings for compliancy
.Generate reports from scanning and patch deployment activities for management and compliance
QUALIFICATIONS AND CERTIFICATIONS
.Bachelors or Associates degree in Computer Sciences or Computer Information Systems desired
.5 or more years as a Security administrator
.CISSP certified information security professional or equivalent experience is required
CEH Certified Ethical Hacker desired..
