LAMP Purchase Activations System

Profile

LAMP Purchase Activations System
Were a small shop ~10 people looking to migrate some portions of our development work back into the U.S. / Canada.
# N.B. If youre outside the U.S. / Canada, with all possible, possible due respect, #
# were not the gig for you. Were looking for someone specifically in the U.S. or #
# Canada. Thanks. #
The main thing we need help with at the moment is a purchase ==> account activations system written in PHP and MySQL with extensive use of MySQL stored procedures and datasets with many millions of records.
It will talk with existing iOS and Android Apps (built and managed by another one of our in-house developers).
The A#1 most important thing is the ability to communicate regularly with other team members.
The second most important thing were looking for is someone whos a self-starter and who can fully manage their own day, including interacting with others on the team, with minimal day-to-day or hour-to-hour micromanagement.
The third most important thing is the ability to test your own work. Someone with the ability to say, Its done! and it really is *done* is key.
Lastly is documentation and code commenting. Following in someone elses footsteps and working routinely with others is par for the course, so having that from others--and giving it in return--are expected. :-)
If youre someone who likes working independently, delving into reaaally interesting projects, and doing it all in a casual, relaxed environment lets talk!
Beyond this first project, were looking for someone with whom to work on an ongoing basis, probably starting at ~20 hours / week.
Edit: no firms, please. Looking to work one-on-one with an individual.
