Contracts Officer
The candidate will provide duties include: Identifies and uses strategy and creative problem solving to review, draft, negotiate, create and/or amend contracts to delineate roles and responsibilities, allocate risk, ensure clarity of purpose, and to address issues related to compliance with applicable statutes, regulations, University policies and procedures, and ensure alignment with the University’s mission. Facilitates discussion and counsels stakeholders regarding proposed activities and their impact on the University and its employees, property and reputation, and identifies acceptable solutions to complex project challenges. Works and collaborates with cross-functional teams of University stakeholders and policy-holders, domestic and international contracting partners, including educational institutions, for-profit and non-profit entities, public and private institutions and individuals. Advises contract administrators to address and manage issues that arise in the course of performance of the contract.
