The candidate’s duties include:To assist in preparing Chapter 7 and Chapter 13 Bankruptcies for attorney review. Pre-filing: Intake with clients; Completing Chapter 7 and Chapter 13 petitions and drafting and responding to motions in Chapter 7 and Chapter 13 cases; Collecting documents from clients; Communicating with clients; Creating Excel spreadsheet with paystub/bank information with Pivot Tables; Forensic research of bank statements; Post filing: uploading documents to Trustees; Keep track of developments and calendar hearings and deadlines. Must have (3) years of Bankruptcy paralegal experience. Must be knowledgeable with applicable bankruptcy court filing requirements. Chapter 11 experience is a plus.
