Job Description As a Senior Director within Cybersecurity Engineering, your responsibility will be to lead diverse, global team of software developers and security engineers responsible for the creation of customized solutions, that automate, and improve the overall capabilities of **MEMBERS ONLY**SIGN UP NOW***.'s global Cybersecurity.
This role is a recognized expert within **MEMBERS ONLY**SIGN UP NOW***. responsible for contributing to the development of Cybersecurity capabilities using customized/opensource solutions.
Lead development of innovation and strategic direction in application of theories and concepts related to security-oriented software engineering, opensource/community technologies, enhancement and increase of function of existing capabilities
Innovate and Implement solutions that drive down manual work, increase response times, visibility and fidelity of security controls and coverage
Continually provide hands on technical coordination, oversight and leadership for software development staff and serve as escalation point for complex technical issues
Plan, design, implement and provides ongoing support of Cybersecurity systems of high complexity in key customer facing, commercial payments and corporate environments to fulfil the business needs
Establish industry leading operational practices/methodologies for problem resolution in a global, 24 x 7, high volume, high availability, critical production environment, based on metrics (KPI and KRI's).
Foster the culture of creating airtight, highly redundant code and encourage Cybersecurity teams to adopt an automated/orchestrated solution-based approach to improve expand capability and improve operational excellence
Take a hands-on, working involvement in all phases of requirements analysis, architecture, design, and deployment to reduce manual execution of Cybersecurity playbooks
Build and maintain relationship with other network global and virtual teams and third parties on development or support issues
Provide highest level of technical consultancy to ensure problem resolution is achieved in the shortest possible timeframe
Develop and position solutions and create a roadmap to effectively gain buy-in from all stakeholders
Mentor junior team members, develop departmental procedures and best practices standards
Provide recommendations to management team to increase effectiveness of organization and technology solutions
Drive adoption of new technologies and tools, recommend capability improvements to Cybersecurity engineering, provide comparisons & customizations of Opensource & community-based technologies
Ensure that information security and risk management are embedded within the culture requiring continuous improvement to a complex set of functions to coordinate security and compliance risks related to information systems and assets
Strong interpersonal, facilitation, and leadership skills along with effective communication (both written and verbal) skills
Act as an enabler for our Cybersecurity org by reducing time-to-detect and time-to-remediate by driving rapid detection of faults/issues and developing self-healing capabilities for our Cybersecurity tools
Ability to convey Cybersecurity concepts and issues to both technical and non-technical audiences
QualificationsBasic Qualifications
*12 or more years of work experience with a Bachelor's Degree or at least 10 years of work experience with an Advanced degree (e.g. Masters/MBA /JD/MD) or a minimum of 5 years of work experience with a PhD

Preferred Qualifications
*15 or more years of experience with a bachelor's degree or 12 years of experience with an Advanced Degree (e.g., Masters, MBA, JD, or MD), PhD with 9 years of experience
*Hands on experience in using the following tools & track record of developing code and solving complex use cases using: Elasticsearch, IBM Resilient, Splunk, Splunk Phantom, BigFix, MySQL, Ansible & other open-source tools at an enterprise scale
*5 years related experience in hands on lead software development roles that include designing, planning, documenting, coding, and implementing production solutions for mission critical security use cases
*4 years' experience with using and creating CI/CD concepts, source control technology, unit testing & quality assurance
*4 years' experience with hands on experience analyzing large opensource code bases, with actual experience & successful track record of implementing, modifying, and contributing back to projects
*Advanced process orientation and exhibited planning, organizational and problem-solving skills
*Advanced understanding of Application APIs & hands on experience with developing & using automation, orchestration & SOAR technologies to solve and integrate with a ecosystem of products.
*4-7 years of Python, Elasticsearch, C /Java and Ansible development experience in a lead capacity required in the role
*Advanced understanding & experience with Networking & Networking Security: TCP/IP network protocols, NetFlow, Deep Packet Inspection, Network traffic Inspection, Network Cryptography, Cisco/Palo Alto/Check Point security configurations, packet capture & network data reliability
*2-3 years of hands-on front & backend web-based development (PHP, Angular, Flask)
*Experience in designing & engineering network-based Packet Inspect & Intrusion Detection enterprise grade solutions that are designed around commodity hardware & opensource technology (e.g., scaling to 10-40 gbps with zero packet loss)
*Experience in designing, deploying ETL solutions and frameworks to process enterprise scale data
* 7 years of hands-on Linux & Windows server System Engineering experience
*Hands on experience with deploying & engineering end to end solutions involving: opensource file integrity monitoring, opensource system health monitoring infrastructure & opensource data collection/telemetry tools
*Proven track record of replacing Commercial security solutions with Opensource solutions.
*Proven track record using a metrics-based approach for management & estimation of project delivery timelines & team performance calculations
*Ability to understand systems from all levels, from the big picture enterprise-level view to the low-level technical view
*Ability to write technical design and build documentations for all aspects of a technical infrastructure
*Ability to represent technical and business issues and solutions to multiple levels internally and externally to support strategic organizational plans
*Demonstrate ability to work in a complex organization to determine business and customer needs, providing the best solution to meet those needs
*3 years in a direct people manager role, overseeing a global team, conducting reviews and calibrations
*Significant experience effectively using project management practices to size, plan & deliver solutions in an on-time manner
*Experience in an enterprise Cybersecurity solutions and IP networks in mission-critical, 24x7 production environments
*ITIL certification and Scrum/Agile Delivery
