M&A Corporate Associate
The candidate will have the opportunity to become a part of a growing mergers and acquisitions team. The essential job functions are drafting and negotiating contracts and advising on related transactions; advising on mergers and acquisitions and business entity governance matters; advising on choice of entity and creating and restructuring business entities; assisting in due diligence efforts and post-deal integration, and maintaining current working knowledge of laws and regulatory developments, and structuring and drafting documents for commercial and finance transactions. Should preferably possess 1+ years of experience in a law firm or in-house legal department. Must be licensed or attain a license to practice law in the State of Ohio. Experience and/or background in business, tax, commercial transactions, lending, finance, or accounting preferred. Must have strong drafting, research, and writing skills with the ability to work effectively with teams and independently, as well as manage and prioritize multiple projects. Must have strong analytical skills with the ability to work with staff, attorneys at all levels, and firm clients successfully.
