Description:
Somerset Pacific is seeking a part-time energetic, experienced, multi-family property Groundskeeper for our Cypress & Hooper Springs apartment complex located in Baton Rouge, Louisiana.

Qualifications and Skills:

High school diploma or equivalent
Experience in grounds keeping or related area
Ability to lift, push and pull up to 60 pounds
Must be able to stand for long periods of time and walk stairs
Responsibilities and Duties:

Maintain property grounds, common areas and surrounding areas in a clean, neat condition.
Physically walk the community on a daily basis and remove litter, trash, debris, limbs, weeds, pet droppings, etc. from grounds, breezeways, landings, common hallways, pool area, dumpster areas, parking lots, walkways, etc.
Address property maintenance concerns related to inclement weather conditions.
Promote customer satisfaction by maintaining the highest standards of cleanliness and curb appeal, and interact courteously and professionally with current and potential residents.
Clearly and immediately report any maintenance and/or safety issues identified while performing regular assigned duties.
Assist with various physical tasks, as needed
(This is a part-time position, 28 hours per week. Monday - Friday, on-call on weekends for emergencies only.)

This position is contingent on completion of successful background, criminal, and drug screening.
