Associate General Counsel
The candidate will handle a broad range of responsibilities relevant to business around the world, including legal support for our commercial activities, corporate structure, general contract negotiations and regulatory compliance. The work encompasses structuring transactions, contract enforcement, regulatory and litigation matters and requires solid drafting and confident negotiation skills. This position will work closely with C-Suite, finance and operations personnel at senior levels within the company and subsidiary companies. Work closely with department heads and other team members to structure deals that strike the right balance between achieving business opportunities and mitigating risks. Draft and negotiate contracts to memorialize these deals. Provide advice and assistance to other company departments regarding interpretation of contracts, proposed transactions, risk analysis and policies. Develop legal strategies, and direct and supervise outside counsel on a variety of assigned projects. Work on special projects including developing and updating company policies and process improvements in the US and foreign markets. Ability to work and interact with corporate management and others at all levels. Support non-litigation projects such as drafting company policies and serving as Legal Department’s designee on various committees.
