Senior Paralegal, Regulatory & Compliance
Duties: Collaborates with and supports various departments in providing administrative services to independent medical practices according to their services agreements, including providing appropriate support in connection with practice needs, assisting in the implementation and documentation of practice transactions, general record keeping for practices Assists Compliance Officer with ensuring compliance with administrative regulations for the practice of opticians and optometry. Assists legal counsel with regulatory duties associated with the optical retail activities of the Company and its affiliates. Maintains all domain name registrations used by National Vision, including registering new domain names and obtaining appropriate renewals as needed. Maintains all regulatory and trade name registrations for National Vision, including registering in new jurisdictions where required or otherwise deemed appropriate. Assists Lab management and trade compliance analysts with FDA registration renewals and good standing for all National Vision optical labs as needed. Assists Customer Care with customer complaints and issues when elevated to legal department. Works with legal counsel when needed to support litigation need, special projects and initiatives. Performs legal research on an as needed basis. Stays actively informed of new developments in the law affecting the Company and its affiliates.
