Assistant Privacy Officer
The candidate supports the Chief University Privacy Officer and Institutional Compliance Officer and university’s commitment to protecting the privacy of personal information of students, faculty, staff, research subjects and other members of the community. Participates in and supports ongoing activities related to the development, implementation, maintenance of, and adherence to the organization’s policies and procedures covering the privacy of, and access to, personal information, financial information, educational records, protected health information and other sensitive information in compliance with federal and state laws and university’s information privacy practices. Should have highly advanced professional discipline. M.D., Ph. D., Law degree or equivalent doctoral degree and 3-5 years of experience or equivalent combination of education and experience is required.
