The candidate will be responsible for maximizing case profitability through management of the Pre-Litigation Department. Responsibilties: Oversee Firm’s prelitigation department if 18 Case Managers and Legal Assistants and case load of 1250 active files, serving as attorney of record on all prelitigation cases. Review files with Case Managers on a weekly basis to ensure ongoing case management and treatment. Work with Case Mangers to drive on going file-work up to determine liability, damages and policy limits on cases as soon as possible. Advise and provide legal guidance to Case Managers on initial case investigation/medical treatment. Consider government liability during initial review of all files to ensure government claims are filed in a timely manner, if applicable. Prepare and file government claims when applicable. Manage client expectations to increase client satisfaction and minimize complaints. Must have JD from an accredited Law School and current, active CA Bar License. 5+ years of experience in Plaintiff’s personal injury law required. Experience valuating cases, managing medical treatment and experience managing a team. should be an experienced Prelitigation Attorney. CA Bar (Required). Spanish (Preferred). 5+ years of experience in Plaintiff’s personal injury law required. Experience valuating cases, managing medical treatment and experience managing a team.
