Staff Software Engineer

Profile

We are seeking a Staff Software Engineer for a very important client.

Duties: Develop, create, and modify general computer applications software or specialized utility programs. Analyze user needs and develop software solutions. Design software or customize software for client use with the aim of optimizing operational efficiency. May analyze and design databases within an application area, working individually or coordinating database development as part of a team. May supervise computer programmers.
Requirement:
The ideal candidate will possess the following qualifications:

Experience: 10 yrs

Skills: Experience with impact assessment of software patches and upgrades. Experience in Linux shell scripts, Perl and/or python. Working knowledge of Linux development environment tools

Experience with medical device, embedded Linux, software design, requirements analysis. Good communicator, understanding of Agile development methodologies, ability to work independently.
