Senior Researcher
Duties: Work with the Center’s director, staff, and affiliated faculty to create and execute an innovative, evidence-driven research agenda to ensure that the Center is viewed as a scholarly leader and a valuable resource by policymakers and other academics. Working closely with local, state, and national stakeholders in the drug enforcement and policy space as well as the Center Director, be in charge of acquiring and analyzing data, conducting qualitative and quantitative research to inform drug enforcement policy and practice, leading a team of staff and graduate student researchers, overseeing and directing Center’s research, publicizing the Center’s research and programming by actively seeking speaking engagements at conferences and other subject matter appropriate venues, and seeking research funding opportunities and leading grant writing efforts.
