The Humana Healthy Horizons Strategic Solutions team's purpose is to accelerate the ideation and development of transformational initiatives that maximize customer value to create a differentiated value proposition for Humana Healthy Horizons. As a centrally positioned strategic function this team coordinates with Humana Healthy Horizon's executive leadership team to manage an innovation portfolio tailored to capture business objectives. We collaborate with business units across the enterprise to set actionable strategies and support transformational initiatives through ideation, concept development to launch. We deliver value through detailed research, data-driven insights, strategic planning, structured problem solving, and project management rigor. Responsibilities

Humana Healthy Horizons is seeking a Medicaid Strategic Solutions Lead - Wellness (Innovation Portfolio Strategy Advisor) who will play a critical role in the evolution of Humana's health and wellness solutions and, more broadly, in helping Humana deliver on its well-being centered mission. They will manage a suite of competitive health and wellness services offered to our Medicaid members and will lead the creation and commercialization of new, innovative products and solutions. Responsibilities include:


Assesses capability gaps within the wellness space and develop a comprehensive wellness innovation strategy.
Conducts market research and extract insights to inform innovation pipeline
Leads the front-end ideation, screening, discovery, and concept development activities specific to wellness solutions.
Develops design briefs for new solution ideas, including specifications and business models, to present a clear, focused concept for strategic consideration.
Utilizes a data-driven approach to support the strategic vision and define the core metrics that will inform the success of the solutions(s).
Advises executives to develop functional strategies and prioritize effectively within the Medicaid segment .
Once solutions are launched, monitors efficacy of solutions and uses customer and business partner feedback to ensure solutions are meeting customer needs, adjusting over time to continue to achieve the desired outcomes.
Partners closely with operations, vendors, customer success teams and/or enterprise teams, to drive the success of the wellness innovation strategy
Exercises independent judgment and decision making on complex issues regarding job duties and related tasks, and works under minimal supervision.
Performs analysis of variable factors necessary to determine the best course of action.


Required Qualifications


Bachelor's degree in Business, Public Health, or a related field.
4 years' experience in strategy, solution development, or innovation with a specific focus on digital health and wellness products.
2 years of health care experience focused on managed care or payer partnerships, Medicaid a plus.
Experience leading large-scale transformational initiatives and driving cross functional teams.
Solid track record managing solutions that achieved clinical and financial outcomes.
Proven ability to adapt quickly and prioritize competing demands in a fast-paced environment.
Experience managing stakeholder relationships including executive and management audiences, and external vendors.
Quantitative and qualitative analytical skills, with experience identifying trends and actionable insights.


Work at Home/Remote Requirements


At minimum, a download speed of 25 Mbps and an upload speed of 10 Mbps is recommended; wireless, wired cable or DSL connection is suggested.
Satellite, cellular and microwave connection can be used only if approved by leadership.
Associates who live and work from Home in the state of California, Illinois, Montana, or South Dakota will be provided a bi-weekly payment for their internet expense.
Humana will provide Home or Hybrid Home/Office associates with telephone and computer equipment appropriate to meet the business requirements for their position/job.
Work from a dedicated space lacking ongoing interruptions to protect member PHI / HIPAA information.


Preferred Qualifications


Master's degree (MPH, MBA, or related).
Experience in Agile Methodologies of product development (certifications a plus).


Additional Information:


Workstyle: Hybrid Office if you live within commuting distance of our office locations in Tampa, FL or Louisville, KY, or Remote if you live outside of Tampa, FL and Louisville, KY.
Travel: If you live outside of Tampa, FL or Louisville, KY , travel will be up to 15% primarily to these locations.
Core Work Days & Hours: Monday - Friday; Eastern Standard Time(EST) with flexible scheduling (i.e. - occasional nights and weekends).
