Junior level solicitor role undertaking mainstream commercial property work
We are an independent law firm based in Reading.
Our Real Estate Team is the largest in Reading and prides itself on providing City quality work outside London. Our exceptional lawyers handle a wide range of property transactions – including the acquisition and disposal of interests in real estate on individual sites and property portfolios, planning, environment and construction work, landlord and tenant matters and taxation and finance issues.
The team is looking to recruit another solicitor to assist its mainstream commercial property practice. You’ll enjoy a broad range of high-quality work with early responsibility, supervised and encouraged by a variety of senior associates, legal directors and partners within this very supportive and sociable team.
This is a great opportunity particularly for someone at an early stage in their career to benefit from an excellent and varied client base and a focus on learning and development. You should have at least 6 months’ solid commercial property experience – gained during your training contract or post qualification – and have developed a solid understanding of acquisitions/disposals of commercial freehold and leasehold property work.
In the last year we have been embracing new and flexible ways of working. We are also mindful of the benefits of regular office attendance for the development of junior lawyers and for strengthening social involvement – which are both very important to us.  We are developing a flexible and context-based approach to our future working arrangements we will be happy to discuss with you during interview.
