General Foreman

Profile

We are looking for a General Foreman to join our growing construction team. As a member of our construction team, you will work year-round to help customers get back to their lives after they experience fire or water damage to their homes or businesses. Your primary goal is to manage subcontractors/suppliers and perform labor on projects up to $20,000 of total contract value on time, on budget, and with a happy customer. If you are detail oriented, organized, and knowledgeable in residential construction practices, Woodard is the place for you!
Essential Duties:
Ensure projects are completed on time, on budget, and to Woodard's quality standards
Plan, communicate, and execute events on projects that conform to the projects schedule and budget
Communicate with customers to ensure their confidence & satisfaction in the project
Perform production labor tasks on jobsites - this may include, but not limited to: jobsite cleaning, drywall hanging and taping, painting, finish carpentry, plumbing and electrical work
Select subcontractors and suppliers to perform work on projects that will fit into the project plan
Conduct project inspections to evaluate project progress, quality of workmanship, customer satisfaction and adherence to contract scope of work
Participate in weekly staff meetings with team members to ensure project information is being updated accurately
Continually develop and train subcontractors, suppliers, and internal labor to ensure a positive employee experience & continuity in their area
Requirements
3 years of residential construction experience in performing labor in drywall finishing, painting, finish carpentry, finish electrical, and finish plumbing
1 year experience in running residential construction projects
High School Diploma or equivalent
Above average knowledge of residential construction practices
Ability to obtain a class E Missouri driver's license within 30 days of hire
